Culture is synonymous with Arcadia. It’s a land that loves music, dance, theatre, the arts and sciences. It is the birthplace of great poets, scholars, writers and scientists. Arcadia is the homeland of Cariotakis, Theodorakis, Gatsos, Leivaditis, Mitropoulos, Gavras and many more people. Whatever season you come, Arcadia will always have something for you to see and to hear. Traditional feasts, nights of folk music, contemporary music, theatre and cinema. The Municipality of Tripoli takes particular care that artists come here so as to enrich the life of Tripoli and the surrounding villages. Every day really is like a feast here.

There are also local festivals, like the chestnut festival in the winter and the corn festival in August. Arcadia is so closely tied to tradition that it honours the fruits of the earth with gratitude.
