Arcadia is characterised by intense, spontaneous and persistent religiosity. This is a Sacred Earth, since ancient times. The well-known pantheon was born in the Arcadian mountains and caves to conquer the world. Christianity was well suited to the stoic Arcadian soul and was embedded in it. The monasteries and churches that watch over and protect Arcadia are the devoted shoots and blossoms of that union.
